Gen Kelsang Suma helped to establish Joyful Land in 1996, becoming its Resident Teacher at the request of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Gen Suma has studied extensively under Geshe Kelsang and other leading Kadampa teachers, and completed many meditation retreats. For the past decade, she has devoted herself to the development of Kadampa Buddhism in the Ottawa area, where her gentle, clear and joyful teachings bring wisdom and benefit to the lives of many. Gen Kelsang Suma teaches the Teacher Training Program, and Tuesday and Thursday classes in the General Program. |
